After a busy winter of planning, maintenance and innovation, we are ready to welcome you aboard with more options, better boats and an even more refined experience on the Mediterranean. New sunrise departures from 8am
One of the most exciting additions this season is our new early morning departure slot, starting at 8:00am. If you've ever wondered what it feels like to sail along the Barcelona coastline as the city slowly wakes up, this is your chance to find out. The sea is at its calmest in the early hours, the light is soft and golden, and the port is blissfully quiet before the day-trippers arrive. You'll glide past Barceloneta beach, the W Hotel tower and the Columbus monument with almost nobody else around — just you, the sound of the sails and the gentle Mediterranean breeze. For photographers, couples and those who simply love a peaceful start to the day, the 8am slot is unmissable.
The Mojito Sunset tour: Barcelona's most festive experience
This season we officially launch our most talked-about new tour: the Mojito Sunset. Think of it as our classic sunset sailing experience taken up several notches. As the sun begins to descend toward Montjuïc and the sky transitions from blue to amber to deep gold, we serve freshly prepared mojitos on deck while the atmosphere comes alive. It's the perfect outing for groups of friends, birthday celebrations or anyone who wants to mark a special occasion against the backdrop of one of Europe's most beautiful harbours. Limited capacity ensures an intimate and festive atmosphere — and yes, the mojitos are as good as they sound.
Fleet maintenance and upgrades
Every winter our entire fleet undergoes thorough preventive maintenance carried out by qualified marine engineers. This season we've gone even further: new safety equipment has been installed across all vessels, navigation electronics have been updated and the sunbathing areas on deck have been redesigned for greater comfort. Our captains — all qualified Merchant Navy officers with deep knowledge of the Barcelona coast — have also completed refresher training in first aid and passenger safety. When you step aboard a Cool Sailing BCN vessel, you can relax knowing that every detail has been checked, rechecked and optimised for your enjoyment and peace of mind.
Book early — the season fills fast
Barcelona's sailing season runs roughly from April through October, with the peak months of June, July and August selling out weeks in advance. Weekends and public holidays fill up fastest, especially for private charter departures and the newly launched Mojito Sunset tour. Our advice is simple: if you have a specific date in mind, don't wait. Book as early as possible to secure your preferred time slot. For groups of 6 or more, we also recommend getting in touch directly via WhatsApp so we can tailor the experience to your needs. The Mediterranean is waiting — and so are we.
